Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar

Arrive in Amritsar and check into your hotel. Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine in Sikhism. Explore Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial of national importance. Witness the ceremonial closing of the India-Pakistan border at the Wagah Border. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar to Katra

After breakfast, travel to Katra (approximately 235 km, 5-6 hours). Check into your hotel and rest. Visit the Vaishno Devi Temple and begin the trek or opt for a helicopter ride. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3: Katra to Srinagar

After darshan at the Vaishno Devi Temple, depart for Srinagar (approximately 260 km, 7-8 hours). Check into your houseboat or hotel upon arrival. Enjoy a serene shikara ride on Dal Lake and explore the floating gardens. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Mughal Gardens, including Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. Explore the Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views of Srinagar. Visit the Jamia Masjid and Hazratbal Shrine for cultural experiences. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg

After breakfast, take a day trip to Gulmarg (approximately 50 km, 2 hours). Enjoy activities like skiing, snowboarding, and gondola rides. Explore the scenic beauty of Gulmarg and visit the Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
